Latvia handed over to Ukraine antitank weapons, "Stingers"

Latvia has provided Ukraine with military equipment to fight the russian aggressor.

This was reported in the Center for Strategic Communications and Information Security with reference to the Latvian Ministry of Defense.

The value of the provided military equipment and weapons is over 200m euros.

Among the assistance provided to Ukraine:

- individual equipment and weapons,

- field rations,

- ammunition,

- antitank weapons,

- MPADS Stinger.

Latvia called on NATO to increase military aid to Ukraine.

On 5 April, the Latvian Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced the withdrawal of its consent to the activities of the Russian Consulates General in Daugavpils and Liepaja.
