European Technical Safety Organisations Network (ETSON) has suspended cooperation with the russian Scientific and Engineering Centre for Nuclear and Radiation Safety (SEC NRS).
The Ukrainian State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety (SSTC NRS) reported.
"In its official address, the Network's leadership expresses its condolences to Ukrainians in a particularly difficult situation and emphasizes the importance of keeping the warring parties from actions that could jeopardize the safe operation of all nuclear facilities in Ukraine and the safety of nuclear material," SSTC NRS said.
The Ukrainian side stressed that it considered such a decision insufficient and urged that ETSON exclude the russian SEC NRS from its membership and suspend any cooperation with russian scientific institutions.
