Acting President of Energoatom, Petro Kotin, shared his views regarding the occupied Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).

In his interview to Espresso, Kotin said that russians currently hold 50 units of military equipment (tanks, infantry combat vehicles) on the territory of ZNPP. Around 50 russian soldiers are stationed at ZNPP.

According to Kotin, ZNPP is currently under management of the Ukrainian team of professionals. Working groups are in rotation as per usual schedule, with minor interruption only during the day when ZNPP was captured by russians.

"Teams work according to the shift schedule, which is controlled by the russian soldiers. People are under a lot of psychological pressure", - Kotin said.

He added that Rosenergoatom also sent their employees to the plant.

Kotin said that two ZNPP employees were injured on 2 April, when russian soldiers dispersed a peaceful protest in Energodar. Russians brought special prisoner transport vehicles and started the detentions of peace protesters.
