The russian federation has to be included on the “black list” of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF). It will allow for the restriction of trade with the aggressor country.
This position was voiced byRostyslav Shurma, Deputy Head of the President’s Office during the online meeting of the group of Ukrainian and international experts who analyze the real effect of the sanctions against russia.
As it is stated on the website of the President of Ukraine, the group also puts forward proposals to intensify available and introduce new efficient measures.
Shurma added that work should be also done to recognize russia as a sponsor of terrorism. There is an urgent proposal to disconnect from SWIFT the entire banking system, in particular, Sberbank and Gazprombank.
The Deputy Head of the President’s Office added that land transport (including, railway) and ships have to be banned to enter russia-controlled territory, russian ports, to ban transport that belongs to the russians or carries out the transportation of goods of russian owners from entering international ports.
We remind that on 06 April Great Britain applied new sanctions against the russian federation. They relate to businessmen, Sberbank, new investment, and the import of coal and gas. TheUS introduced sanctions against the daughters of the President of the russian federation Volodymyr Putin and the wife and children of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Serhiy Lavrov.
