“They (russians - LB.ua) know, that they are Nazis, they cannot justify their attitude to the destruction of our nation and everything related to us. They will not succeed in acquitting themselves,” said President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in an interview with the Turkish TV channel Habertürk.

According to Zelenskyy, russia is shifting responsibility for crimes against civilians in the occupied territories to Ukrainians. But russia will not be able to avoid responsibility for what it has done.

“It will be impossible for russia to hide behind the information discrediting of Ukrainians ... There are lots of audio interceptions, everything is there, the inquiry will use them,” Zelenskyy stated.

The head of the state noted that for its invasion, russia invented that “there are nazis here destroying everything russian. But the fact is: the war is on our territory, there are Ukrainians in the mass graves”.

“The second narrative is that they are defending russian-speaking people. Look at what is happening in Mariupol, what happened in Kharkiv, what is happening in Melitopol, Berdiansk, where there were a lot of russian-speaking people ... People who are russian-speaking there now - they hate everything russian," - the President of Ukraine emphasized.

“Ask my parents who lived in the Soviet Union, russian-speaking people, ask them what they would like to do with these russian troops who came to “protect” everything russian. I think my father would say he would like to choke them off. No alternatives,” Zelenskyy added.

Today Volodymyr Zelenskyy declared that the russian federation doesn't allow humanitarian aid to Mariupol so that the world won’t see what is happening in the city.
