The Prosecutor General’s Office ensured the seizure of 17 800 freight railway wagons owned by enterprises from the RF and the Republic of Belarus.
It was informed by the Prosecutor General’s Office.
It has been done under the investigation of the criminal proceedings based on the fact of the intentional evasion of taxes to be paid in especially big amounts.
It has been established that certain freight railway wagons located on the territory of Ukraine were used to commit an economic crime and were seized by a court as an instrument to commit the crime.
The issue of confiscation of the seized rail wagons in favor of the state is being considered.
The pretrial investigation is conducted by the Bureau of Economic Security.
We remind that Ukraine has started the nationalization of 400 railway wagons being the property of russia and Belarus.
