In the Luhansk region, 640 residents were evacuated from the town of Hirske, as well as all the people from Lysychansk who wanted to be evacuated. The humanitarian aid was delivered to the town of Rubizhne.
Serhiy Haidai, the Head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration, informed about this.
"The buses managed to get out of the town of Hirske, return and pick up everyone who gathered. We have never evacuated 640 people from there at once. These are the residents of Hirske, Zolote and nearby towns, ” Serhiy Haidai informed.
30 residents left the town of Rubizhne by bus and arrived in Dnipro. Humanitarian aid was also delivered to the town namely the food and basic necessities.
“Everyone was evacuated who came to the evacuation places in Novodruzhesk, Privilya, and from the area near the plant of rubberized-fabric products. The exact number is being clarified, ”Haidai added.
Eight disabled people were rescued from the basements of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk.
Please be reminded that Haidai informed about the evacuation of 30 000 civilians from the region only according to the official data, not including the data from volunteers and those who evacuated on their own. He noted that Russia does not need Luhansk region with people, they just want to occupy territory to report to Putin about the occupation of the region within geographical limits.
