Eleven killed as Russians fired on Kharkiv Region 66 times in 24 hours

In the last 24 hours, russian troops fired about 66 artillery, mortars, and MLRS in the Kharkiv region.

Oleh Synegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration (OVA), wrote on his Telegram channel.

The Kharkiv districts of Saltivka, Pyatihatky, and Kholodna Hora were affected. Zolochiv, Balakliya, and Dergachi were also shelled. Rescuers put out fires in houses, warehouses and other civilian infrastructure.

Civilians were injured as a result of the shelling by russians, including 11 dead, one of which is a 7-year-old child; 14 others were injured.

"We are seeing the activity of enemy reconnaissance aircraft in the region. During the past 24hrs, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have destroyed an enemy ‘Orlan’," the head of the OVA wrote.

As reported earlier, the prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into the almost complete destruction of the village of Vilkhivka in the Kharkiv region by the russians.

Also, the residents who remained in Izyum in Kharkiv region are now completely blocked. The city is horribly destroyed after shelling by the russian occupiers.
