Oleksandr Abramenko, the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic champion and Beijing 2022 silver medalist, has decided to transfer 100,000 hryvnyas received from the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine for the silver medal of this year's Olympic Games to Ukraine, according to the official Facebook page of the Ukrainian Ski Federation.
Half of this sum Olexander will send to volunteers of his native city Mykolaiv, the rest - to the charitable fund "Country of Sport" the priority direction of which is the active humanitarian aid to victims of the war in Ukraine.
