Ukraine regains control of Maryinka, repels russian offensive near Kharkiv, Donetsk

The enemy suffered losses and was forced to retreat.

The Ukrainian army launched a counteroffensive in the Donetsk direction and regained control of the town of Marinka in the Donetsk region. The enemy didn’t succeed in its offensive attempts near Kharkiv and Donetsk.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces said in its evening report.

"In the Donetsk direction, near the town of Marinka, as a result of a counteroffensive by Ukrainian troops, the russian enemy suffered losses and retreated. Units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine regained control of the settlement," the report read. 

In the Slobozhansky direction, the partial blockade by the russian enemy of the city of Kharkiv continues. The russian occupiers are trying to fire on Ukrainian troops and critical infrastructure. The enemy attempted an offensive and stormed south of Izyum. The attempts were unsuccessful, russia suffered losses and was forced to retreat to its former positions.

Fighting continues in the South Buh direction in the area of Oleksandrivka, where the enemy is also unsuccessful. Russian enemy tries to reach the administrative border of the Kherson oblast and does not stop shelling settlements.
