Today, on April 21, the sixth exchange of prisoners took place between russia and Ukraine. 19 Ukrainians were saved, the Minister of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, Iryna Vereshchuk, announced.
“Today we are returning home 19 people, 10 of whom are servicemembers (including 2 officers) and 9 civilians,” she wrote.
Vereshchuk stressed that there are wounded people among the released this time, and now they will be able to receive complete treatment and undergo rehabilitation.
"I would like to thank President Zelenskyy for his continued personal involvement in the prisoner exchange process," she added.
On Tuesday, April 19, Ukraine returned 60 service members, 10 of whom were officers and 16 civilians.
