The United States has begun supplying multiple launch rocket systems [MLRS] to Ukraine.
This was said in an interview with "European Pravda" by US Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland.
She stated that multiple launch rocket systems, as well as artillery, are in the latest aid package from the United States, and emphasized that the delivery of systems is already underway.
"We are already delivering MLRS systems," Nuland stressed.
The Under Secretary of State added that the United States is currently working with other NATO allies to ensure more reactive systems for Ukraine.
Regarding the fight capability of Ukrainian aircraft, Nuland noted that there are already several NATO states that supply Ukraine with components that allow it to get more aircraft into the air.
“And now you have more aircraft on combat service than a week ago, as a result of the fact that you received spare parts and other things from the allies… So, to be absolutely clear, I will list: MLRS are already being delivered; there are allies working on aircraft; and in addition, there are a huge number of spare parts for military aircraft, which are already changing the situation," she said.
US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin will go to Germany next week to hold talks with allies on Ukraine's defense needs.
President Emmanuel Macron has said that France is supplying Ukraine with heavy weapons, including the Caesar self-propelled artillery [CAESAR].
