Starting on Sunday, 1 May 2022, the Ukrposhta (the Ukrainian national postal service) launches Internet sales of merch (T-shirts, sweatshirts, and magnets) with the stamp “russian warship” as well as other stamps from the previous themes.

The magnets are already available at the Central Post Office in the Maidan Square, and later they will be sold throughout Ukraine. The part of the money from sales of the merch will be sent to the Ukrainian Armed Forces (UAF), said Ihor Smilianskyy, the CEO of Ukrposhta.

“Let us remind other sellers not to violate the copyright of Ukrposhta and the author of the picture. We have not approved the use of the stamp picture by any other seller. I mean that all other merch with the stamp is counterfeit from Malaya Arnautskaya [the street in Moscow],” mentioned Ukrposta’s CEO.

Smiliavskyy assured that everyone who had ordered and paid for the stamps in the new and old internet stores will get them. The Ukrposhta is planning to send 14 thousand orders and that will be 86 thousand stamps in total. Up to 2-2.5 thousand orders are sent per day.

The Ukrposhta introduced the first Ukrainian postal stamp under the conditions of the martial law “Russian warship, go…” on 12 April 2022. The circulation made up 1 million copies in two nominals. The next day the Ukrainian military men drowned the surface-to-surface missile cruiser, depicted on the stamp. And it got sold for thousands of American dollars.

For five days the Ukrainians have bought nearly half a million copies. Because of huge demand, the sales of the stamp got limited.

At the charitable auction, such a stamp with a russian warship was sold for UAH 5 million.

After the popularity of the stamps with “Russian warship, go …” the Ukrposhta decided to issue the stamp with a similar picture and title “Russian warship … DONE!”

Recently the Ukrposhta announced a new postal mark about the “Ukrainian dream”.
