In 66.7% of communities in the Kyiv region, destruction was recorded after enemy shelling and hostilities. This is 46 out of 69 joint territorial communities, said Regional Military Administration Chairman Oleksandr Pavlyuk
"As a result of hostilities in the region, more than 4,000 residential buildings (private and high-rise) were destroyed. Critical destruction was inflicted in the Bucha, Irpin, Hostomel, Borodyanka, Makariv, Velyka Dymerka and Piskivka territorial communities," he wrote.
As of now, only some residential buildings in Hostomel and Maryanivka remain without water supply. There, DTEK is carrying out restoration repairs on power lines and substations.
The Kyiv region was liberated from the кussian occupiers on April 1. Bucha, Borodyanka, Irpin, Hostomel and other settlements suffered the greatest destruction and human casualties. Missile strikes were also inflicted on areas that the invader could not reach.
