On Sunday, 8 May 2022, the Air Defense Forces hit ten russians air targets. The Command of the Air Force of the UAF (Armed Forces of Ukraine) reported this information. "On 8 May 2022, the Air Defense Forces of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit five unmanned aircraft vehicles: four "Orlan-10", one ''Forpost," and three cruise missiles. Besides, SAM units of the Ground Forces destroyed two more UAVs, "Orlan-10," reads the message. In total, ten air targets were hit during the day: seven UAVs and three cruise missiles.
"The strike aircraft of the Air Forces are launching missile and bomb strikes on the occupying troops, depriving the enemy of the opportunity to conduct offensive operations in certain areas," reads the statement.
On 2 May 2022, the UAF shot down a russian drone worth $7 m and seven UAVs "Orlan-10".
