Enemy arrows and missiles flew in our sky, but no one can overshadow our blue sky. There are no chains able to bind free spirit. There is no occupier, who can live on our free land. There is no invader, who can rule over our free people," the president continued.
Take the horde, take Nazism, even take a mixture of both, as the present enemy, we win. Because this is our land.
"Because while one is fighting for the father-tsar, for the party and the chief, we are fighting for the Motherland. We have never fought against someone. We are always fighting for ourselves. For our freedom, for our independence. That the victory of our ancestors was not in vain. They fought for freedom for us, and they have won. We are fighting for our freedom, for the freedom of our children, and therefore we will win. We will never forget what our ancestors did in World War II, where almost 8 million Ukrainians died. Where one in five Ukrainians did not returned, and in total the war has claimed at least 50 million lives," said the leader of the state.
Zelensky noted that Putin was already repeating the horrific crimes of the Hitler regime, following Nazi philosophy.
