In Mykolaiv, the man transferred to the Russian occupiers information concerning lines of defense of the city and positions of the Armed Forces.
This is stated in the message of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to the investigation, the suspect contacted representatives of the Russian special services by means of the bot created by them in the Telegram, transferring information on the defense of Mykolaiv. He also reported on the consequences of the aggressor's attacks on the city, which actually ensured the adjustment of the occupier's fire.
During a search of the suspect's residence, a mobile phone with evidence of his criminal activities was seized. The corrector was detained in accordance with Article 208 of the CPC. The issue of choosing a measure of restraint for the suspect is currently being resolved.
The inhabitant of Mykolaiv is reported on suspicion of the fact of unauthorized distribution of information on the direction, movement of the weapon, the weapon, and ammunition to Ukraine made in the conditions of martial law for the purpose of providing such information to the state carrying out aggression against Ukraine (ch. 3 Art. 114-2 CC of Ukraine).
We will remind that on the evening of May 7 the Russian occupying forces carried out an attack on the Ship area of Mykolaiv.
On May 4 the Russian armies fired at Nikolaev from jet systems of volley fire "Smerch".
