The Azov Regiment and the defenders of Mariupol at the Azovstal plant are keeping the contact with the command. The intelligence officer Ilya Samoilenko has made this statement during a press conference of Azov fighters.
"We keep the communication with the command. The order of the command is to continue the defense," Samoilenko said, adding that he could not provide details at the moment.
The Deputy Commander of the Azov National Guard Regiment, Sviatoslav Palamar (Kalyna), requested politicians to intensify their efforts to end the ceasefire and evacuate Azovstal.
All women, children, and the elderly were rescued from the territory of the Azovstal plant. The Russian military broke into the plant, and it is still there.
