Russian authorities keep sending conscripts to die at war in Ukraine, as the Defence Intelligence (DI) of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine reports.

Despite Kremlin leadership's assurances about not letting conscripts participate in the so-called "special operation", they keep joining the ranks of russian occupation forces in the territory of Ukraine.

"It's the conscripts who die first during the hostilities. Their imminent death or maiming is caused by their poor training and outdated weapons and equipment. One more reason for the high death rate of the conscript soldiers of the occupying country's army is their involvement in the first echelon of the forces' actions that more experienced contract servicemen refuse to take part in," – the statement reads.

Sending conscripts to the war zone is another proof of the authorities' attitude toward their citizens and the personnel shortage in the aggressor's army, the intelligence notes.

“Despite the hidden mobilization in russia and forced mobilization of men in occupied Ukraine's territories, russian command is unable to fully staff the combat units,” – the DI added.

Mothers of russian conscripts, understanding the inevitability of their children's death, are addressing their complaints about the commanders' illegal actions to Russia's Commissioner for Human Rights Tatyana Moskalkova but receive nothing but "more lies and empty responses".

Russia's overall combat losses in the war against Ukraine from 24 February to 9 May amount to approximately 25 650 people. 150 occupiers were destroyed over the day.

Russian authorities deny sending conscripts to the war against Ukraine but that is proved by the documents seized from the occupiers.
