Russian hackers have tried several cyberattacks on the websites of German government agencies, but they have not been successful.

This was stated by еру spokesman for the German Interior Ministry Maximilian Kall, Ukrinform reports.

“I can confirm that attacks have been carried out against government officials in Germany. They were not successful. There were no data leaks. The attacks did not cause any damage”, the spokesman said.

He noted that these were “technically relatively simple attacks”, so-called denial of services, which were repelled by standard cybersecurity mechanisms.

The software was not damaged. Experts are investigating these cyberattacks.

Kall also noted that after the start of a full-scale russian war against Ukraine, cyberattacks on German structures and critical infrastructure have intensified, but no serious ones have been reported.

We are reminding, that russian hackers are attacking information systems throughout Ukraine because they want to conquer the whole country. They carry out cyber attacks on both local and national resources.
