Approximately 70 million euros are needed to repair buildings damaged by russian shelling in Kyiv.

This was stated by the mayor of Kyiv Vitaliy Klytschko on the national #UA Together TV marathon.

According to the mayor of the capital, 390 buildings were damaged in Kyiv, including 222 apartment buildings. The city authorities have identified 20 houses where renovation work should be started first. The approximate cost of these works will be 5.8 million euros.

“The other buildings are still being examined by experts to determine the extent of the damage. Today we can say that 17 houses in the capital have suffered significant damage, and we are waiting for expert recommendations,” Klytschko told.

In Kyiv, 75 educational institutions were damaged, of which 30 were pre-school institutions, 17 health care institutions, and 11 cultural institutions.

The head of the Kyiv RMA, Oleksandr Pavlyuk, said that the possibility of a new russian offensive on Kyiv always remains.
