As a result of shelling by the occupiers of the Azovstal plant in Mariupol, they are seriously injured.
Captain Sviatoslav Palamar, Deputy Commander of the Azov Battalion, told Ukrainian Pravda about this.
"Shellings and aviation, all night. There are wounded. Aviation is working on the hospital. Many seriously wounded. We lost contact with the hospital for a while,” he said.
The connection is now restored, many are injured and need to be evacuated.
"This process cannot be delayed, because the wounded need normal care, they need medicine. We need normal nutrition and fresh air,” Palamar added.
It will be recalled that on May 9, the invaders made 34 sorties to the territory of the Azovstal plant, where the Ukrainian military is defending.
Earlier, the head of the Donetsk Regional State Administration said that about 100 civilians remained in Azovstal.
The commander of the border guards at Azovstal said yesterday that the military is in superhuman conditions, but continues to defend their land.
