Since the beginning of full-scale russian aggression against Ukraine, 788 cruise and ballistic missiles have been fired at the territory of our state, reports the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“As of 6 o'clock today (06:00, May 11, 2022), 487 missile strikes have been carried out by the russian armed forces since the beginning of full-scale combat warfare, during which 788 cruise and ballistic missiles were fired from the territory of russia and the republic of belarus,” said Brigadier General Oleksiy Hromov, Deputy Chief of the Main Operations Department of the General Staff of UAF.
Following missiles were fired:
Iskander mobile operational-tactical ballistic missile system - 213 missiles;
Tochka - U mobile operational-tactical ballistic missile system - 61 missiles;
naval-based and air-based cruise missiles - 235 missiles.
Also 4,917 air sorties were made.
In May, russian armed forces carried out 49 missile strikes from russia, launched 74 cruise and ballistic missiles.
Specifically, following missiles were fired:
4 Iskander missiles;
8 Tochka-U missiles;
2 naval-base and air-based cruise missiles,
In addition, 459 air raids were made in May.
The main targets of russians were the objects of transport infrastructure of the southern and eastern regions of the state. Russians also repeatedly fired at other objects of critical infrastructure of social significance.
