Over the past day, russian troops shelled the Luhansk region 30 times. Half of the shellings on May 13 were recorded in Hirska and Popasnyanska amalgamated communities. The enemy destroyed another 50 houses there yesterday, the head of the regional military administration, Serhiy Haidai, reported on May 14.
“We lose about the same amount of housing in these communities every day. Following the city of Popasna, the russians are destroying nearby settlements. They do not need people and their homes - only the territory that the enemy turns into a desert,” said Haidai.
According to him, in the morning, at least five destroyed houses were recorded in Troitske, five in Viktorivka, and 11 in Komyshuvate. During the day, five destroyed homes were registered in Novozvanivka, five in Vrubivka, and 10 in Zolote. Closer to the evening, there were destroyed houses in Toshkivka and Katerynivka - five houses in each settlement.
During the past 24 hours, seven high-rise buildings in Severodonetsk and one in Rubizhne were damaged by enemy shelling, and two private houses were also destroyed.
In Lysychansk, due to the enemy artillery shelling, the administrative building of the rubber technical products plant was destroyed.
