The risk of missile attacks remains throughout Ukraine. But Ukraine's air defense forces have become more powerful since February 24. Similarly, the military weapons promised by the Western countries are already being used in the military activities.

Anna Malyar, Deputy Minister for Defense, informed about this at a briefing, LB.ua informs.

“Russia is becoming predictable, despite the fact that they tried being an unpredictable enemy. They react emotionally to any success of Ukraine, including international success. Indeed, today there is a risk of missile attacks throughout Ukraine. This night showed it. There were a lot of attacks in several regions. This is just a proof of this situation," she said.

At the same time, according to Ms. Malyar, Ukraine's air defense is currently strengthened.

“The air defense of Ukraine, which was considered as a weak point until February 24, has shown to date that the enemy has no advantage in the air. Of course, we still cannot say about the absolute safety and 100% of protection because some missiles attack these or those targets. But incomparably more missiles are shot down and do not hit the target due to the air defense. And today hundreds of thousands of lives have been saved, "she said.

The Deputy Minister also pointed out that Ukraine is already receiving the promised aid from the Western countries.

“The breaking point can already be observed. Assistance to Ukraine is now collective after the meeting in Rammstein with more than 40 Heads of Defense from different countries. In a few months, it will provide a parity opportunity for Ukraine to deal with challenges. It is dangerous now to mention some definite numbers because the enemy is constantly monitoring the information. So he would understand our capabilities if we mention some numbers. But the fact that Western aid is already being used in military activities is absolutely true," Ms. Malyar added.

To remind, Vitaliy Klytschko, the Mayor of Kiev, hinted that the modern air defense systems will be placed in the capital soon.
