In the morning on May 18 the russian troops made a missile strike at Mykolaiv, as a result there was a fire in the private sector, - reported by the State Emergency Service [SES].
"During the day, firefighters extinguished five fires, one caused by enemy shelling: in the morning, May 18, after an enemy missile strike, destruction occurred and a fire broke out in the private residential sector in the Ingul district of Mykolayiv. Firefighters of the 3rd and 2nd State Fire and Rescue Units and duty staff of the operational-coordination center extinguished it in the area of 50 square meters," - reads the statement.
It is currently known about one victim who received shrapnel wounds.
4 more fires with different causes were registered. The pyrotechnic team also carried out work at 34 addresses and seized 24 ammunition.
Yesterday russia made a missile strike on Ochakov's sea infrastructure and fired at the center of Mykolaiv.
