The russians launched another air strike on Bakhmut in Donetsk region. The shells hit a five-story apartment building, a private house and an office building. In a private house, rescuers pulled out six people out of the rubble, their condition is satisfactory. The entire entrance to the five-story building was destroyed, according to preliminary information, no one was injured.
This was announced on Thursday, May 19, by the head of the Donetsk RMA Pavlo Kyrylenko.
"The russians continue to shoot at civilians, but timely evacuation allows us to save hundreds of lives. Of the 73,000 inhabitants of Bakhmut, just over 20,000 remain in the city - thanks to which we can minimize the amount of casualties expected by the enemy," Kirilenko said.
The head of the RMA once again asked everyone who has the opportunity to leave the Donetsk region, because now there are no absolutely safe places in the Donetsk region.
On May 17 russia hit an air strike on Bakhmut, one of shells hit the apartment house, building constructions on 5 floors were destroyed. The first victims to be rescued were two men, aged 43 and 44, and a 75-year-old woman. Four others, including three children aged 9, 12 and 17, suffered injuries of varying severity.
The next day, rescuers found the bodies of a 35-year-old woman and a 2-year-old child.
As of the evening of May 18, the total number of dead is 5, wounded - 4.
