We are currently conducting an audit of the damage in the educational sphere caused by the russian army and are forming a program to rebuild educational institutions.
This was announced by the Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet.
The minister joined an online meeting between President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Ukrainian students.
"Almost 1.8 thousand institutions were damaged and almost 200 of them were completely destroyed, now we are conducting an audit of the damage and are forming a program to rebuild each kindergarten, school, vocational school, college and university," the minister said.
According to Serhiy Shkarlet, there are about 1,000 schools on the occupied territory, and most of the principals of the seized educational institutions do not cooperate with the occupants.
