"We saw today the places where the war crimes took place and we will help the justice to be established. Today we understand that you are fighting against the regime of a man who is a war criminal and must stand trial," – the head of Dáil Éireann [lower house of the Oireachtas, the Irish parliament – tr.] Seán Ó Fearghaíl said.

The head of the Ireland parliament's senate [Seanad Éireann – tr.] Mark Daly emphasized that, after what he'd seen today, he was convinced that it's necessary to keep providing Ukraine with comprehensive assistance. He added that 30 thousand Ukrainians had lived in Ireland before the war, and after the hostilities began, Ireland hosted 40 thousand more people from Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting today with the head of the upper house of the Irish parliament Mark Daly and the head of the lower house of the Irish parliament Seán Ó Fearghaíl. The parties discussed the prospect of the post-war rebuilding of Ukraine. Zelenskyy told about the respective planning work that is already in progress and suggested Ireland join the implementation of the future projects in the framework of our country's reconstruction.
