A group of more than 40 countries will gather next Monday, 23 May, to discuss the further defence support of Ukraine.
"Evropeiska pravda" reports that citing the Pentagon's spokesperson John Kirby.
"They will gather together as it was at Ramstein last month, to provide Ukraine with help in the security field and discuss how it will look like in the future," – the US Secretary of Defence spokesperson.
He added that the Pentagon's head Lloyd Austin had already informed Ukraine's Minister of Defence Oleksiy Reznikov about the new meeting. More than 40 countries will participate in the group's meeting, and the full list of participants will be ready later.
A new American aid package for Ukraine includes 18 155mm howitzers, 18 tactical vehicles for towing those howitzers, three AN/TPQ-36 counter-artillery radars, as well as additional field equipment and spare parts. American equipment arrives in Ukraine in very short terms, sometimes in less than 24 hours, as the States understand that "those things can't wait".
