The occupiers continue to plan to force the crossing of Siverskyi Donets.

The russian enemy does not stop offensive operations in the Eastern Operational Area to establish complete control over the territory of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions and maintain the land corridor with the temporarily occupied Crimea.

According to the General Staff of the UAF (Armed Forces of Ukraine) report as of 6:00 on 21 May 2022, the shelling continues along the entire contact line and deep in the defense positions of our troops in the Donetsk operational area and the Sloviansk direction.

The situation in the Volyn and Polissia areas has not changed significantly. The threat of missiles and airstrikes on the infrastructure objects of our state from the territory of Belarus remains.

In the Siversk area, the russian enemies fired rounds on the positions of the Defense Forces near the Ukrainian border municipalities of the Sumy and Chernihiv regions.

In the Slobozhanshchyna area, the primary efforts of the enemies are focused on maintaining the occupied frontiers. The russians launched airstrikes on the village of Tsyrkuny.

Soon, the grouping of troops in the Kharkiv area is expected to be strengthened by units from the 1st Panzer Army of the Western Military District.

In the Sloviansk area, the russian aggressors are trying to resume the offensive. In particular, they want to ensure the crossing of the river Siverskyi Donets and plan to build a temporary bridge.

In the Donetsk area, the enemies conduct active war actions in the Sievierodonetsk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Kurakhiv areas.

In the Lyman area, the occupiers plan to resume offensive operations in the direction of Yampil - Siversk that includes crossing the river Siverskyi Donets. In particular, there is a concentration of special equipment for building a temporary bridge in this area. Furthermore, to strengthen the grouping of troops and intensify the offensive, the russian occupiers deploy additional units.

In the Zaporizhzhia area, the enemies fired rounds on our troops.

In Mariupol, the russians are taking measures to restore the port. In particular, they conduct demining of port infrastructure.

In the Pivdennyi Buh and Tavriya areas, the occupiers focused their efforts on maintaining the occupied frontiers, conducting reconnaissance, engineering equipping of positions, and logistical support of troops.

In the Kryvyi Rih and Mykolayiv areas, the enemies do not stop artillery shelling Ukrainian military units. There is an additional deployment of cannon and rocket artillery units.
