"I heard: "The russians think we will not fight, but they are wrong. We have experienced worriers who have been fighting for eight years and are skilled in combat. This is a completely different Ukraine and a completely different Ukrainian army than the one back in 2014," - he said."

Duda called Zelenskyy his friend and stated that he was sincerely afraid of not hearing from him again, and after 24 February 2022, he called him every day."

"I was in Kyiv a few hours before the attack; we left Ukraine just a few hours before... Saying goodbye, Volodymyr Zelensky told me that he was confident that Ukraine would be attacked within the next few hours," - said the leader of Poland.

On 23 February 2022, on the eve of the russian invasion, the presidents of Poland and Lithuania, Andrzej Duda and Gitanas Nauseda, arrived in Kyiv to express their solidarity with the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy. During the visit, the heads of state signed a joint declaration.
