Ukraine may join the Digital Europe program in the near future, - announced by Minister of Digital Transformation Mikhail Fedorov.
The European Commission also expressed support for the initiative to recognize e-trust services between Ukraine and the EU.
"This is another step in Ukraine's integration into the EU's digital space, which will provide our country with powerful digital and economic prospects. The meeting with Roberto Viola, Director of the European Commission's Digital Program DG Connect, confirmed that we have enormous support from Europe on this,” - the Head of the Ministry of Culture emphasized.
According to him, Viola praised the work of the ministry on electronic COVID-certificates in Diya application and their official recognition in the European Union. Fedorov noted that in a short period of time Ukraine has managed to build an infrastructure for rapid certification and introduce instant data exchange between other countries.
The "Diya.City" project was shortlisted for the Emerging Europe Awards 2022.
Now in “Diya”, on the web-portal and in the application, - a new service has appeared for those who lost their jobs due to the war. Thanks to it, one can apply for unemployment status and receive monthly assistance.
