russian troops struck a school in the Severodonetsk region of Luhansk region on Friday (May 20th). People were hiding in the building. At least three of them died.
This was announced by the head of RMA Serhiy Gaidai.
"In the morning, the orcs fired artillery at a school in Severodonetsk, where people were in the shelter. More than 200 people, many children. Three adults died on the spot," the RMA head said in his telegram channel.
Luhansk Oblast police are currently trying to transport people to another shelter.
"Please, if you stay in the city, be in the shelters all the time!" Gaidai called on the residents of Severodonetsk.
Earlier, the head of the city CMA said that in Severodonetsk, bomb shelters remain up to 15 thousand inhabitants. There is no connection in the city, which is under heavy fire from the occupiers. However, today they had to complete the repair of the gas pipeline interrupted by the russians and restore the city's gas supply.
