Over the past day, the russians destroyed 19 residential buildings in the Donetsk region, there are dead and wounded. On May 19, the enemy fired on 13 settlements. The occupiers killed and wounded civilians.
According to the press service of the National Police, 34 civilian objects were destroyed. The settlements of Soledar, Bakhmut, Siversk, Avdiivka, Lyman, Marinka, Romanivka, Bakhmutske, Khrestyshche, Donetske, Kalynove, Sydorove, and New York came under fire.
«Russian troops fired on civilians with aircraft, tanks, heavy artillery and MLRS “Grad”. The occupiers aimed at residential buildings, a hospital, a sanatorium, a sports complex, a shopping mall and critical infrastructure», the statement said. Police have launched a pre-trial investigation under Article 438 (violation of the laws or customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
Earlier, the head of the Donetsk OVA said that on May 19, the russians killed five civilians in the Donetsk region, and six others were injured.
