Fleeing the russian aggression, 38 thousand Ukrainians left for Sweden, 12 thousand of them are children.
The Ambassador of Ukraine to Sweden Andriy Plakhotnyuk told the media center "Ukraine" about it.
"The Swedes are 200% with the Ukrainians. Constantly. Beginning from the fact that they bring things for the internally displaced people, provide them with housing, and even offered to donate blood. Support is also felt in the fact that there are constantly and everywhere Ukrainian flags, there are demonstrations in support of Ukraine", - said the ambassador.
According to the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, the russian invasion provoked a mass outflow of Ukrainians abroad. More than 5.5 million citizens have left the country since the war began.
According to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, more than 6.2 million Ukrainians left the country because of russian armed aggression.
