The Center for Countering Disinformation of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine reported that russia is preparing provocations in the Sumy region. Enemy propaganda is once again trying to shift responsibility for the shelling of civilian infrastructure onto the UAF.
According to the CCD, the russian Ministry of Defense misinforms about provocations allegedly carried out by the Ukrainian military to justify the shelling of residential buildings by the occupants.
According to the kremlin's legend, in the Sumy region, the Ukrainian military seems to be "planning to shell russian territory" from the border settlements. Therefore, as justified by the russian Ministry of Defense, the russian army will have to respond to the provocation.
Given the insidiousness of the occupants, the Center for Counteracting Disinformation urges the residents of the Sumy region to be especially careful and not to disregard the air raid alarms.
The enemy regularly shells the border areas of the Sumy region from its territory. On May 17, under cover of fire, russian RSGs attempted to break into Ukrainian territory near Seredyno-Budy, Sumy region. Thanks to the Ukrainian military, the attempt was unsuccessful.
