The Ukrainian Armed Forces again destroyed the russian occupiers’ pontoon crossing across the Siversky Donets.

This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“Air reconnaissance of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine found that the occupiers had set up a crossing over the river. Having built a pontoon bridge, they were going to transport about a dozen units of armored vehicles. Timely transfer of information to the artillerymen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine made adjustments to the plans of the invaders and a well-aimed shot destroyed the crossing together with the enemy tank, which was on it at that time,” the ministry said.

Enemy tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, and infantry tried to hide, but thanks to UAV border guards they were found and eliminated. As a result, the invaders lose dozens of their military, as well as several units of equipment.

According to the American Institute for the Study of War, during the attempt to force the river Siversky Donets the army of the russian Federation lost 485 from 550 militaries of the 74 motorized infantry brigades. Also during this large-scale attempt at the crossing, which took place on 11 May, more than 80 units of russian equipment were damaged.
