The Government of Ukraine together with Western partners are looking for opportunities to develop overland logistics routes to establish grain exports from Ukraine, but this will not help the export of all Ukrainian grains, announced on Twitter by the Ministry of Defense of the United Kingdom with reference to intelligence data.

The agency reminds that since the beginning of the full-scale war, the russian federation has blocked most of Ukraine's seaports. In addition, all grain from the south of the country has been blocked.

The proposed land export mechanisms will not replace the lack of transport capacity. There is still a lot of grain left in the elevators in the territories controlled by Ukraine and it is not possible to export it.

As a result, world prices for basic foodstuffs will continue to rise. The deficit, which russia has artificially caused by a military blockade not only of Ukrainian ports but also of the entire Black Sea, will exacerbate the situation. Commercial vessels from other countries are also unable to approach the Ukrainian coast.

Earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that Ukraine and its partners had established two alternative land routes to deliver food exports and save Africa and other regions from starvation.

The European Commission will create transport "lines of solidarity" with Ukraine to facilitate food exports in the face of russia's blockade of six seaports. More than 90% of the total turnover passed through the ports, which are now either closed or blocked.
