Today, the European Commission decided to establish so-called "solidarity transport lines" to help Ukraine with export of its own agricultural products.
This is mentioned in the message of the European Commission on Twitter.
"Ukraine is the world’s granary. By hampering vital exports, the Kremlin’s war is threatening food security worldwide”, Ursula von der Leyen, European Commission President, said.
She added that the European Commission is taking action to ease the transportation of food from Ukraine.

Danube ports are able to provide 10% of turnover, and the Ministry of Infrastructure is currently taking steps to increase their capacity.
According to Serhiy Bratchuk, the speaker of the Odessa Region Military Administration, Russia is blocking the export of Ukrainian grain to create a food crisis in Africa and the Middle East. In this way, Russia is trying to exert pressure on the world.
