Marco Mihkelson, the head of the Estonian parliament's of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Estonian Parliament, believes that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron should not speak to the president of the aggressor country Vladimir Putin, but rather go to Ukraine to help her win the war.

He wrote about it on Facebook.

"It's incredible how the current leaders of France and Germany are passing the way of the new russian violence. The 80 minute conversation between Macron and Scholz and Putin inevitably leads to a reinterpretation of Macron himself - it is not a question of 'brain death' (by NATO - ed.)," Mickelson remarked.

He said that the constant legitimating of whoever started the war is a threat to the entire alliance space.

According to Michelson, if Macron and Scholz are disturbed by the food crisis in Africa and other regions through the blockade of Ukrainian ports, they should create a humanitarian convoy in the Black Sea and facilitate the passage of merchant ships.

"Macron and Scholz could have hung up and gone to Ukraine sooner. I hope that Macron's and Scholz's weird actions were not caused by the fear of losing influence in a democratic Europe which Ukraine would inevitably join in case of victory as well as Moldova and Georgia, and Belarus would set free from the actual russian occupation. And Europe as a whole would be free from the russian existential threat for at least some time", the politician added.

We would like to remind you that on Saturday,May 28 , Putin had a telephone conversation with Macron and Scholz. The French chancellor and president urged Putin to enter direct talks with the Ukrainian president and withdraw troops.

Scholz and Macron also reportedly spoke to Putin about the strained global food security situation. The Russian president has allegedly promised to unblock grain exports from Ukraine with UN participation . One of the issues discussed was the removal of sanctions. Putin said that russia was ready to "resume dialogue" with Kiev and voiced dissatisfaction with the supply of weapons to Ukraine.
