The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine announced the launch of the first target collection of UNITED24 - for X-ray machines.
"We will raise funds today during the charity telethon Save Ukraine - #StopWar in Berlin. We use every opportunity to receive help and support for Ukraine from the world community," the statement says.
The telethon started at 21:00 Kyiv time.
For all the donations received during the broadcast, C-arm X-ray surgical systems will be purchased for medical institutions in 12 regions of Ukraine. Thanks to this equipment, doctors will be able to detect shrapnel wounds and provide the necessary assistance to the seriously injured more quickly.
The cost of one device is over 100,000 dollars.
“This is the first target collection at UNITED24, when we raise funds for specific needs. We will continue to add new lots,” the Ministry of Digital Transformation added.
At the expense of the funds received on the United24 platform, 35 artificial lung ventilation devices were purchased.
