On the night of May 31, the russian military launched a missile strike on Slovyansk. The shelling killed three people and injured six, announced on Facebook by the Head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration Pavlo Kyrylenko.
According to him, the school and at least seven high-rise buildings were damaged.
Rescue work is underway. The exact number of victims and injured can be provided after their completion.
"This airstrike is another crime of russian occupation forces on our land, the victim of which are civilians. I reiterate that there are no safe places in Donetsk region, so I call again: evacuate - save your lives. Putin is waging a war to exterminate Ukrainians," he wrote.
On May 24 Russia fired at Slovyansk residential houses with cluster shells.
