The situation in the Luhansk direction remains difficult. Russian invaders are trying to break through the defense of the Ukrainian Armed Forces of from several directions at once: from Zoloty, Popasna, Komyshuvakha, Belogorivka.
The goal of the russians is Severodonetsk. They did not have any success in this city last night, Luhansk RMA chairman Serhiy Gaidai said on the telethon.
As of morning, the occupiers do not control the whole city, the fighting continues.
"Yesterday our guys made some such small operations, counterattacks. We managed to move the enemy on certain streets and even take prisoners. The situation remains, as the military says, consistently difficult, but controlled," he said.
In the bomb shelters of Severodonetsk, people have few generators and humanitarian kits. If the defenders move the russians in the near future, a consignment of humanitarian aid will be brought to the civilians immediately. Communication with people in shelters is rare, but ongoing.
The evacuation from Severodonetsk will not be resumed due to high danger. From Lysychansk so far too, but the situation is being monitored.
