The newly appointed US Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brink, presented her credentials to Volodymyr Zelenskyy and outlined a plan of action.
This was stated during a briefing in Kyiv by US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink.
Bridget Brink spoke about the main directions of the US diplomatic mission in Ukraine:
- to help Ukraine win the war against russian aggression;
- to provide American humanitarian aid to those who need it;
- make efforts to bring russia to justice for its atrocities and war crimes;
- control the use of US military assistance;
- to resume the work of the US Embassy in full.
On May 30, US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink presented her credentials to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and began discussions on how the United States can support Ukraine.
Brink was appointed ambassador to Ukraine on May 18. On May 28, the US Ambassador to Ukraine received a visa to work in our country. On May 18, a flag was raised over the US Embassy in Kyiv to resume work.
