In several bomb shelters under the Azot chemical plant in Severodonetsk, about eight hundred people are hiding from shelling by the russian occupiers, told CNN the head of the Luhansk Regional State Administration Serhiy Gaidai.

There are also children in the shelters, but there are few of them.

According to Gaidai, when the invaders struck a tank with nitric acid, it did not harm the residents who were in the bomb shelters. The cloud rose from the explosion and immediately left the plant.

The owners of the Azot factory said a small amount of chemicals remains at the site.

On May 31, the russian invaders struck Severodonetsk and hit the tank with nitric acid at the chemical plant. And on June 1, they opened fire again on Azot and the factory Proletarii .
