Russian collaborators have been spreading fake reports about 4,000 people queuing to get Russian passports in Kherson, Ukraine's Operational Command South has said.

"In fact, just around 20 minions of the occupying authorities received the so-called 'escape tickets'," it said.

Earlier, it warned local residents against participating in mass events the occupying authorities have planned for Russia Day marked on 12 June due to a threat of provocations which they can later blame on the Ukrainian army.

The OC South also said that the Ukrainian artillery had destroyed a Russian self-propelled artillery system, a self-propelled large-calibre cannon Pion and 11 russian servicemen.

Four ships, two submarines armed with cruise missiles and four large assault ships continue to block navigation in the Black Sea.
