The russian occupiers have destroyed the second bridge between Severodonetsk and Lysychansk in Luhansk Region and continue to shell the third one heavily, the head of the Luhansk regional military administration, Serhiy Hayday, said on Telegram on 12 June.

"They want to completely cut off Severodonetsk to make it impossible to either take people out or bring in ammunition and reinforcements [for the Ukrainian army]," he said.

According to him, the Russians may throw all the reserves to storm the city on 13 June.

Hayday added that the russians are constantly shelling the territory of the Azot plant, with fighting taking place in the surrounding streets. The invaders are also approaching the town of Vrubivka between Lysychansk and occupied Popasna, he added.

On 11 June, the russians shelled Severodonetsk, Lysychansk, Metyolkine, Pavlohrad, Synetskyy, Ustynivka, Toshkivka, Komyshuvakha, Hirske, Zolote, Vrubivka, Mykolayivka, Bilohorivka and Shypylivka in Luhansk Region.
