The owner of Ukraine's leading grain trader Nibulon, Oleksiy Vadaturskyy, was killed by russian shelling of Mykolayiv in the early hours of 31 July, the head of the Mykolayiv regional military administration, Vitaliy Kim, has said on Facebook.
His wife Rayisa Vodaturska was killed too.
Kim praised Vodaturskyy for investing in the development of the agrarian and shipbuilding sectors of the region.
Vodaturskyy was one of Ukraine's wealthiest businessmen.
