Over the past day, the UAF have advanced several meters deep into Luhansk Region, Serhiy Hayday, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, stated on the air of Espresso.
"Luhansk Region is holding on. Several hundred meters have been added since yesterday, which our military controls. Attacks were repelled and some progress was made. Our defenders have entrenched there," he said.
Hayday added that a huge number of explosions occurred on the premises of the buildings used by the occupiers.
"These are ammunition depots, equipment and personnel. Over the past week, the Russians lost 400 personnel in different places and about a hundred pieces of equipment that were there. I hope that shortly we will hear more good news from our defenders," the head of Luhansk Region said.
There is a large number of killed militants who are hard to recognize in occupied Luhansk. Among the relatives of the military personnel of the so-called people's police, genetic material is being selected for further identification of the dead.
